ELECTRONIC CLAIM SUBMISSION

MedX12 offers two options for the submission of claims.

Interactive Claim Submission:


Our most popular and easiest to use, the MedX12 Interactive Solution allows you to simply login and enter your claim information directly into our web-based form. The MedX12 Interactive system can pull member demographic and insurance data from our partner databases, simplifying claim entry. Physician and member information is accessed directly from the payer's system and is automatically inserted into the HCFA 1500 form when the physician/provider and member/patient are selected. Our system stores this information safely and securely and prepares it for transmission to the payer as soon as you hit "SUBMIT".

Medx12 Batch Submission:


Our easy-to-use batch submission option is used to upload batch professional services claims. The files uploaded are created by your practice management system. Most practice management systems create professional HCFA-1500 claims files in one of three formats; ANSI X12 837P, National Standard Format (NSF), or print image. MedX12 will work with you and, if necessary, the practice management system support staff to define the details of the claim file.

Claim Status Inquiry:


The MedX12 Claim Status Inquiry feature allows physicians and other healthcare providers to easily access up-to-date information on previously filed claims. With MedX12, you no longer have to wonder whether or not the payer has received your claims. By providing you with the most current status received from payers, we help you manage your accounts receivable and reduce the costs incurred in contacting the payer for an updated status.
